About Hayley
Hi, I'm Hayley Booker, a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in North Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
I provide trauma-informed counselling for individuals, couples, and families. My work is rooted in Relational and Somatic therapy, Attachment theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), helping clients navigate trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety, eating disorders, and life transitions.
As a clinical therapist, I am deeply committed to helping individuals navigate their emotional and psychological challenges through somatic and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, practicing from a trauma-informed and humanistic lens.
My passion for counselling stems from a genuine belief in the power of human resilience and the transformative potential of a supportive therapeutic relationship.
I approach each session with the understanding that healing is a collaborative process—one that requires not only professional expertise but also empathy, trust, and a safe space for self-exploration.
For me, counselling is not simply about offering solutions, but about empowering individuals to better understand themselves, process their experiences, and develop the tools they need to move forward with confidence and strength. Recognizing that every individual is unique, I offer a holistic and integrative approach, adapting and tailoring my approach to fit each client’s needs.
I am honoured to walk alongside clients at Soma Clinical Counselling as they uncover their inner resources and work toward lasting emotional well-being.
What I Do in My Free Time
When I am not counselling or working behind the scenes of Soma, you can find me snuggled up with my four legged friend, Mortimer either reading a good book or binging a show!
