About Nina

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Registered Social Worker (RSW), I provide individual counselling for young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, grief, addiction, self-esteem challenges, emotional regulation, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I offer a warm, trauma-informed approach to counselling in North Vancouver and virtually across British Columbia, supporting clients who are looking to better understand themselves and create meaningful change.

I believe therapy begins with feeling truly seen, understood, and accepted. I show up authentically in the therapy room, creating a space where clients feel safe to do the same. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that each person has the capacity for growth, healing, and change.

My counselling approach integrates evidence-based therapies including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic Therapy. I support clients in exploring the connection between their thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and past experiences.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating addiction and recovery, healthcare-related stress, mens mental health, life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and relationship patterns. I especially enjoy working with clients who want to explore their inner critic, perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional regulation, attachment patterns, and the ways past experiences may continue to impact how they relate to themselves and others.

I deeply value the wisdom our bodies hold and incorporate somatic and body-based approaches to help clients slow down, reconnect with their emotions, and develop a greater sense of safety within themselves. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationships, self-worth, or feeling disconnected from yourself, I will support you in exploring your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive counselling space where you can approach vulnerability, process emotions, challenge unhelpful patterns with compassion, and reconnect with your own strengths and resilience.
